Should I rent a car?
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is a 15 minute drive to the hotel. Uber and Lyft are great options for exploring the area surrounding the hotel. Shuttles will be provided on Saturday. If you chose to stay elsewhere, or want to explore other neighborhoods, renting a car may be a good choice.
How do I get to Corte Madera Ranch?
Shuttles will be running between the hotel and Corte Madera Ranch the night of the wedding. If you are staying at another hotel, please make sure to travel to the Lafayette by the pick up time. If you would prefer to drive separately, please contact Sophie and Daniel for details.
What is Corte Madera Ranch?
Located about an hour outside of San Diego, the Ranch is a working cattle farm surrounded by rocky hills and inhabited by horses, cows, chickens, and other natural wildlife. The Ranch is a special place to Sophie and Daniel because of its connection to nature and family.
What should I wear to the wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire, but please keep in mind that the event will be outside on a cattle ranch! There will be plenty of walking in grass and dirt, so we strongly encourage guests to wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, flats, or cowboy boots. Temperatures drop at night, so we recommend bringing a jacket or shawl.
